Installation / Removal

PSI is a market leader in the installation and removal of underground and aboveground fueling systems. Installation/removal is a specialized industry. Our crew leaders are TCEQ A&B licensed and have years of hands-on practical experience. They strictly adhere to all recognized practices and procedures as well as all governmental rules and regulations. Each installer is also certified for the installation of fiberglass (FRP) and fiberglass clad steel tanks, FRP underground piping systems, flexible underground piping systems, and related equipment. All parts and equipment are installed to meet the EPA and TCEQ rules and regulations while following manufacturers installation procedures. PSI meets your needs for both new and retrofits sites. We can design your underground and aboveground facilities and manage all phases of construction and installation from layout to functioning systems. INSTALLATION

  • Re-piping and upgrading
  • Monitoring system installations/observation well drilling
  • Certified precision tank and line testing
  • Cathodic protection system installation
  • Strict adherence to PSI checklists for each phase of installation
  • Customer Book. Upon job completion, the customer receives a personalized and comprehensive as built project booklet which includes: Texas Commission on Environmental Quality Documents, Recommended Practices, Petroleum Solutions, Inc. Checklsits, Precision Test Results with Third Party Certification, As-Built-Drawings, Photographic Documentation on all Job Phases, and Equipment Literature. This project booklet is received at the time of project completion.
 
 


REMOVAL
of FUELING SYSTEMS INCLUDES:
  • Site inspection and evaluation of utility locations prior to removal
  • Notifications filed with TCEQ and local authorities
  • Strict adherence to API recommended practice 1604-Removal and Disposal of Used Underground Petroleum Storage Tanks
  • Removal and disposal of tanks in a safe and environmentally correct manner
  • Proper backfill compaction
  • Strict adherence to PSI checklist for each phase of removal
  • PSI’s Environmental Services for continued site clean-up are provided by our affiliated company:  (Environmental Risk Management, Inc.)
  • Soil sampling and closure reports as applicable
